Here’s a therapy sesh I have to share with you guys. Earlier this week I felt half alive…later on in the week I felt half dead. It happens during recovery, I know this.
I couldn’t write much of anything during a conversation with my amazing therapist but I made sure to write this down – forgive the sloppy handwriting. She reminded me that it’s okay not to be able to complete a task but that initiative is important.
I have a hard time coping with failing at things I used to once do very well. Or asking for help with things I was once able to do on my own. I’m sure there are times in everyone’s life where this is challenging.
So, here’s a reminder that it’s okay to fail, okay to ask for help, and okay to not finish sometimes.
