I drew this piece in a class in college. At the time, I drew it as an assignment. Years later, I re-discovered this piece. When I look at it now, I see a sense of boldness and strength. These characteristics remind me much of my father. I was reunited with this piece after his passing. Ever since, I have the original displayed in a way that I can see it every day.
I call it ‘His Chair’ because I imagine this chair being viewed as a throne for the strong and the brave, for people like him. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as my family and I enjoy having it in our lives.
