Here’s the good, the bad, & the truth behind my TheraPaint Sessions

It’s been one of those weeks during recovery, folks. When your right/dominant arm just does not want to cooperate. Being the painting addict that I’ve recently become, I could not let that stop me! Thankfully God gave us two arms! So I’m trying something I like to call (until I can find a better name) – The Left-Handed Series. ‘Alia’ is my first official piece up for grabs.  Alia is the Latin term for “another”.  I felt that this piece was significant and that this name suited her well – she is the product of finding another way, another possibility to continue on making.  Alia reminds me that eventhough I am on a detour that I never imagined, I can still find another way to get to where I aspire to be.  I hope this piece brings hope and courage to any who see her and especially to those who take her home.
